Landscaping the block next door - The Croajingolong Centre Garden
November 2014
Having already landscaped the Greer St side of the property earlier this year, in concert with Martin Ascher, Yvonne Van Der Merwe took on the challenge of beautifying the spare block between Lucy's and our building.
She visualised and planned the project, acquired the plants, organised necessary earthworks then prepared the beds.
On the day, friends from the Mallacoota Weeding Group gathered and did the planting.
August 2015
9 months on, the plant growth and development have been remarkable.
Pete Sands supplied all the magnificent wooden seats in this garden, and elsewhere.
And now ..... the building sign : The CROAJINGOLONG CENTRE for Communication and the Arts

Things have really filled in now.
Wombat scats are being found in one area of the garden.
